I’ve been blessed with lots of projects I have doing in Marketing for a niche I love. I actually became a partner with the people who brought this project to me, so it became my business too. You see, Marketing is my inner strength, and to do it for something I love, is for me the ultimate experience in efficiency and happiness.
Like when I wrote Private Money by Referral book and produced the Home Study Course , it definitely was from the inside talking out, I enjoyed every minute of those long hours to make sure it is all good information I am passing on, and it seemed like time flew by, for me that was not work for sure.
Well, as I said above, the fact that I am traveling a lot and marketing to clients something I really enjoy talking about, it almost seems like I am working and having fun at the same time. For me, that’s the best there is: the time I spend enjoying what I am doing and then it results in big orders to our company, it looks like we’re making money while we’re playing.
Now don’t get me wrong: we don’t play, we do some serious work for our clients, and they are quite happy to pay us well because of our specialized knowledge we put at their disposal to achieve their objectives. So this is definitely not playing, however it looks like it is because I really love what I am doing. You get the drift, right…
Takeout? whatever you do in life, just make sure you do something you love doing. Look deep into YOU and see what are you naturally good at and what you love doing. Then turn these into your occupation, even if it is part time at first, and then focus and “work” hard at it: when you do that, money will follow, believe me, it might take some time to get comfortable, but you’ll get there for sure, and as they say, laughing all the way to the bank!
Enjoy what you do in life and make it a great one. Pursue your joy and happiness, and you’ll be a happier human being, and definitely a richer one as a side effect.

]]>The main attraction for the kids was SeaWorld in San Antonio, with all the shows of the dolphins and Shamu, the famous whale. They also enjoyed checking out the penguins habitats, tried to touch the dolphins in their pet pool, as well as awe themselves with the majestic Grey sharks (a la Jaws!).
On our way to do the RiverWalk in town, we stopped at the Alamo: it is a historical moment that reminded us of our Texas history: it is like you connected to the Past when you put your fingers on the walls of the famous first days of Texas. My kid had studied the Alamo in their social studies at school this year, and this was quite nice for him to feel and touch the famous place with his hands.
One important things I noticed when we were going around in San Antonio, whether at SeaWorld, or RiverWalk, or the Alamo: there was no shortage of people having fun and enjoying themselves in a perfect Texas March evening, and spending their hard earned money with their families. Which tells me that despite what all the negativity that the TV news keep broadcasting about the economy, people still want to keep going and they have hope. They want to have fun as well, therefore the volume of people at those places we visited.
Just think, whatever happened with the economy and whatever the news keep telling us about Doom and Gloom, there are people out there that will never give up. There are opportunities out there, and there is hope and you should have fun with your family and friends to keep going: relaxing and then focusing on getting your work done will allow you to keep pushing forward. If there are people out there that are spending volume of money, there is private money out there for your deals, you just have to go after it and this is not the time to be a crab locking yourself inside.
So let’s all shake it up, Time to go out and just do it! Business is alive out there, just like everything is alive and well in Alamo city…

]]>And I forgot to say he was going to cook a great big Steak fresh from the Amarillo stock… That’s what really attracted me, apart from lots of private money sitting in his network, lots of cattle feeder private money, can you imagine that? I never thought cattle feeders business existed even, let alone pushing such cash thru it.
Anyway, we got thru the network meeting and I made some great connections over lunch there, and then we went to change and head out in 2 SUV convoy, like in the old west caravan style. Where to?
Apparently there is a Big Old Canyon in the backyard of Amarillo, Huge deep thing, a la Grand Canyon, and runs on tens of miles if not hundreds… Well to explain the picture, imagine a great flat land to no end, where riders were running their horses, and suddenly they get to a cliff that’s thousands of feet down, with no warning! You’ve got to stop that horse or that wagon real quick, and I mean stop real quick and get off it and catch a deep breath because you just avoided falling way down…
This canyon is majestic, and we never it existed in our back-Texas-yard! I am telling you, that made my day looking at this great millions of years old terrain.
And the best of all, it turns out that during the great depression back in the 1930+, our government has sent a lot of people to work there so they can pay them and move the economy. What they did was marvelous: they built roads going in and out of the canyon to make it accessible to people, they opened trails for nature walks, they highlighted places of interests on maps all over the canyon, they built cabins of stones for the rangers that patrolled the canyon, and now these cabins are used as hotel rooms that you can rent for 3-4 days at a time and enjoy this majestic Texas Grand Canyon.
See, I went for a business presentation and I discovered the best and freshest Steaks that somebody could have, the unlimited Money Machine that cattle feeders generated, and best of all the Grand Texas Canyon that my friend was kind enough to organize a walking trip thru it on a beautiful North Texas Sunny day.
When you get a chance and get to Amarillo, yes you can ask about the big cattle feeders money machine for your real estate, however make a point to go visit the Canyon and have some of Amarillo’s best Steak in the country!

]]>When you think about it this way, that’s why opportunities are everywhere: we cooperate virtually with people around the world without even meeting in person. And when we need to, we take a plane and go meet whoever we want, wherever they are in the world.
I am on a trip to visit business people and meeting some old friends from the Oil & Gas industry in 4 different countries overseas, the closest to the USA is 12 hours flight from Houston. I have been on the road for a week now, and I already achieved all my trip objectives and then some: isn’t that amazing when you use what’s available in transportation and technology to achieve goals in lightning fast speed!
On top of that, not even one day during my trip, I was out of touch; thanks to phones and internet connections everywhere. This is not just a virtual office, it is a Global Virtual Office on the Road!
This is how you can have a piece of the Global Economy that we are in right now. And never think that if you have a local job, or all your family and friends are local to your town, you think it is out of your reach. Never think you don’t know people out of your state or out of your country.
Just look around on the web, get on the social networks, find one person you can identify with and ask them to shake their hand electronically and start talking to them. Build your network of friends and people with similar interests starting from home, see how you can cooperate together on projects, whether it is Private Money funding or manufacturing or any other project, whatever you are interested in, there is a network of people globally interested in, find them and connect.
Once you build enough connections in hyperspace, then embark on a mission to meet some of these people face to face starting with people close to where you live, and going out, when you can, to people overseas like I am doing now. There is no doubt you can achieve lots more when you meet people face to face, and shake their hand physically, however start building the relations electronically and then decide who to meet physically later on.
I talk a lot in my Private Money course about getting private money for your real estate after you establish a relationship with someone first. You can prepare your relations and get some of them to produce on the phone and internet, however from my experience, once you follow that up with a meeting face to face, the relationship has much better chances to produce results, it is just the magnificent human interface now at work!
Now Go get yourself a piece of this Global Economy unraveling marvelously in front of your eyes as we speak.

]]>Make it a Big year: I am aiming High for 2009, with many projects to accomplish and move ahead. You probably want to do the same and look at achieving major objectives in 2009.
One saying that never fails: Aim for the Stars, and even if you only reached the Moon, believe me, You will be very well off.
You see, apart from making it to the Moon and that’s a great achievement in itself, the journey that you took to make it there has a huge personal growth built in it, so you would have achieved major learning and developments steps along the way. These stay with you for life way after you have reached your present goal, and of course will help you achieve future projects much faster and more effectively.

]]>I just got a phone call from my wife, and before she said hello, “It is Snowing at our house, and everything outside is white…” . Well if you live in the North, you think we crazy southern people are happy to see the snow one day a year, would you ship us some please from time to time? I’m sure you have more than what you need up North.
Well the snowing here today reminded me of Christmas day in 2001, and it is so close that I feel it is already here. I’ll wait and see if we get snow again around Christmas, meanwhile…
Another thing that reminded me of Christmas, is that I just sent to all my subscribers and friends an e-mail with a link where I’m giving them, along with 100+ other real estate investing trainers nationwide, as a group, a lot of our materials for free…as an Early Big Christmas present.

and 3 wondeful kids I’m very thankful for; an exciting year in our

we are thankful to be connected with, a humble little church where we pray with
our friends, and thanks God every day for all he puts for us on earth and the
challenges we face that keep us growing and maturing.
With turkey day here in the USA, and lots of us being
on the road to be with friends and family, my family and I
wanted to wish you and your family early a happy thanksgiving full of warmth,

]]>We live in the greatest country on earth, where everyone of us express what they want in the future of this country, and vote for the person who can represent that future…
Whether they deliver or not, is a different story: you know and I know that there is so much pressure from the different lobby business in Washington, that the new president is pulled in all different diections despite all the good intentions he had on the campaign trails.
Well, in real estate investing, it is the same story: you know and I know that despite the best intentions you have for growing your business, the availability of outside forces push you in different directions all the time, like financial crisis and bank tightening credits these days; However….
We have a solution here coming from the free country we are in: see, when there is a problem in a private industry like real estate investment, the market adjusts and takes care of it. Let me explain: when the banks tighten the credit, we have an alternative by going to owner financing, or private money lenders, or even hard money lenders if need be.
Just as an example, we’re working on a deal now where the buyer is pre-qualified with a private money individual for, get this: 6.5 M$ . This is a great win-win situation as in all the private money deals: the buyer is getting his building, the private lender is making 6.5 M$ of his money work with a nice return for him and secured by major real estate, and the seller gets his money to sell fast.
So whoever wins today to become our next President of the United States of America, you know you voted right, and make sure you vote right to push ahead with your real estate business by using private money anytime you can, this is a great real estate funding alternative in these financial crisis times. Originally it was heading on the side of Houston, and we thought we were going to escape with simple stuff from the far away hurricane winds. And what do you know? Hurricane Ike kept moving closer, and the closer it got, the surer we were that it was heading straight over us. A 50 mi Hurricane Eye, and a huge hurricane kept moving and hit Houston head on. Luckily, lots of people in the areas close to the gulf went ahead and evacuated, which limited the people in harms way.
Galveston, an Island in the Gulf south of Houston, had devastating damages, whole subdivisions of houses were just wiped out. A friend of mine who had a cabine there, sent me a picture of him sitting where his house was, nothing left except couple of poles still sticking in the ground. The whole thing was washed away by huge waves and no telling where the pieces landed finally.
Anyway, living to the Southwest of Houston, we were on the good “side” of the Hurricane. Still, most fences went down, we had a blown glass while we were thru the storm, just imploded into the house and scared the creep out of the whole family. It kept us working all night while the hurricane is going thru the area, to keep the high winds and water from coming thru that window into the house. That’s when we felt, despite the scare we had, it was good that we stayed at home, otherwise the house would gave definitely flooded if nobody was there to attend to the damage right then and there. Anyway, we can say now “We Survived the Monster Hurricane Ike”…Hey, here is an idea: I might do some T-Shirts for the family that say exactly that!
During the preparation for Ike, we were in the middle of the launch, just 3 days before Ike. We didn’t postpone it since I already promised my readers and clients, You, that we are releasing the Private Money by Referral course. The anticipation was there, and we went ahead and coordinated the release along with getting ready to take the hit of Ike. Also realizing that lots of my readers are every where around the nation, it wasn’t fair to delay it because we were having a local problem, albight a Monster problem. The coordination went fine, and the course was released on time. Understandbly a lot of my readers in the Houston area were not able to get it since they were either evacuating or didn’t have electricity then after Ike. ]]>The reason I didn’t realize it before was because I always did it by default as part of me wanting to help others around me, gain knowledge of what I am good at. When I was in high school , I taught younger people about Math and Physics. When I was in college, I taught college students younger than me about how to study for their engineering tests. When I was in the Oilfield, I taught young engineers how to operate the logging while drilling tools. And now I realize that after I accumulated all that knowledge about using Private Money for real estate funding, I went ahead and put together a book, taught a seminar, and produced a home study course to teach other fellow investors the in and out of Private Money for Real Estate, and how you can find it, commit it and fund what you need to do the deals that you deem good deals to be in.
And I love every part of it, even though putting together all this material, basically do a memory dump of all the information I have in my head and in my past experience, was not an easy project: I am sure I forgot something here and there to tell you, which for sure I will update later , meanwhile , the complete system of acquiring Private Money by referral for Real Estate funding is going to be available to you…
